  • Description: Cherry (not wine red) ES-355 in rare factory mono. Original witch-hat knobs are in the case, but you and I both know how ugly they are. This has what some people call mojo, but I hate that; its covered with checking and wear. Its not abused, but its not cherry either. Structurally sound, and some major buckle rash. It has that Jazz Bass® (once again, Gil created it) neck thing happening, but still plays well, and sounds killer. All original (the right knobs are in the case, and yes, the Grovers are original) with factory stinger at the heel, but not the headstock. Comes with a red-lined Gibson case from the 70s I think. Pickguard is disintergrating, but a superglue dip is slowing down the process. It made the pickups a lovely shade. I was going to quote an email from Gil Southworth in this description, but that got used up over at eBay.
