Now available on consignment, a stunning Gibson ES 355TDSV from 1972 in its original walnut finish! This example features some great figuring in the wood with some stunning checking of the original finish.

This model is synonymous with players such as Freddie King, and more recently Ryan Adams featuring 2x original patent # pickups, a factory lyre vibrola, and of course the varitone control with stereo output.

Over the years this example has been kept in fantastic condition minus the original pickguard being misplaced and some replaced strap buttons.

The neck pickup cover has been off, and the gold taken off the bridge cover. Otherwise all of the parts and electronics have remained since 1972 with it still being wired in stereo as mentioned.

The original frets though showing some wear have plenty of life and play up and down the neck. There are no breaks or repairs, and the guitar weighs in at just over 3.3kg.

A fantastic looking and playing ES 355 thats getting harder to find in this finish!

Includes a quality modern hardshell case.
