2010 Gibson 1965 Firebird V Custom Shop

Vintage Sunburst W/Maestro Vibrato

Released in 1963, Gibson's Firebird model featured neck-through-body construction with glued on wings and mini-humbucking pickups. These unique pickups produced more of a cutting tone than the thick and deep full-sized humbuckers Gibson introduced years earlier.

This Custom Shop 1965 Firebird V reissue faithfully recreates the original with mahogany and nine-ply walnut neck and body section, vibrato, trapezoid inlays, single-bound fretboard, and metal mounting rings. It's finished in a classic vintage sunburst.
