  • Description: This is one of the more unusual guitars Gibson built during the Norlin years. You might think the 1982 Gibson Futura looks like a can opener, but it plays flawlessly. The Gibson Futura is an upscale version of the Corvus. There are a couple of noticeable scrapes on the back of the guitar and a few minor dings, otherwise there is almost no wear including the frets. This guitar appears to have been used very little. Features include gold plated hardware, neck thru body, two humbuckers, invisible pole pieces, offset V cut tailpiece, ebony fingerboard with dot inlays, tune-o-matic bridge, 3 way toggle, 2 volume and 1 master volume knobs, Gibson Gotoh style tuners, 4 ply w/b/w/b pickguard, and a soapbar tailpiece.
