Here's a 1950 Gibson J-45 in Tobacco Sunburst finish. Super vibey and powerful example, that sounds fantastic! With the exception of the tuners, everything on the guitar is original. There's one professionally repaired crack on the top, and one on the back, while the rest is solid. At some point the guitar had a sound hole pickup with an output jack installed. That has since been removed and filled in. Solid quartersawn book matched Sitka spruce top, solid book matched Honduran mahogany back, sides and neck, solid Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, mother of pearl dot fingerboard inlays, 3-ply top binding, with a teardrop tortoise pickguard. The neck has a comfortable, medium C profile, and plays great! Tonally the guitar sounds like a great old J-45! Powerful, deep/warm bass, clear highs, and overall a cannon! And aesthetically it's got all the mojo!!! HSC...
