Description

If you are a fan of slope shoulder dreadnought guitars, this limited edition Gibson may interest you. Offered here is one of just 100 J-45 John Hiatt Signature models built by Gibson back in 2010. Besides being part of a very limited run of guitars, the key feature differentiatng this model from other J-45's is it's larger soft V-shaped neck. Apparently, John prefers the thicker neck shape found on vintage J-45's as compared with contemporary Gibsons. John didn't deem it necessary to change much else on his namesake signature model, although this guitar has a bone nut, nickel vintage style in-line tuners, a hand-sprayed nitro finish, a Madagascar Rosewood belly bridge and factory-installed Fishman Eclipse Matrix Blend electronics. It also has a 24.75" scale length, 12" fret board radius, and 1.725" nut width. A/B this against most any other J-45 and you will hear what you are paying for. This guitar sounds thick and rich and it plays smooth and super-easy. This one is in superb condition too! All you will find in the way of flaws is some extremely light clear coat wear on the back of the guitar and on the pick guard. Other than that this guitar looks like new and the frets appear unplayed. Comes with it's original Gibson case and certificate. This is one sweet vintage-style Gibby. Love it!
