1947 Gibson J-50 in very good condition. This guitar is a two owner instrument. The original owner bought it new in 1947 and sometime in the mid 50s had a new bridge installed by Gibson because the original had split. Has two repaired top cracks and a few braces have been reglued. The sound is big and dynamic. A more balanced sounding guitar than you might expect from a Gibson Jumbo. The top appears to be Adirondack spruce. The neck angle is perfect and there is plenty of saddle. Tapered peghead with original 3 on a plate Kluson tuners with replaced buttons. Great rounded neck shape with 1 11/16" nut width. Overall a great 40s jumbo. Comes with new hard case.
