Description
No other acoustic chunks and chuggs quite like Gibson's J-50 Dreadnought. It's a guitar that just begs for you to put your back into it. The more you give it, the more you get from it. This one is a great example of the form.

No doubt that it has certainly gotten it's fair share of action over the years. The paint has been worn through in spots on the back of the neck, plus there's a spot below the bridge where the wear goes into the wood. It looks like the center seam opened up behind the bridge and was reglued. There's also a repaired crack on the top above the soundhole. These are old repairs but the guitar has been fully gone over by our in-house luthier and needs no additional work. We're actually big fans of the adjustable metal bridges on Gibson's this era and the extra "zing" they give you.

It's got that great feeling "50s" neck that is full without being chunky. Looks to have been recently re-fretted with vintage sized wire so it plays as good as it sounds.

It's a great guitar and just needs a good home.
