1968 Gibson Johnny Smith Sunburst

1968 Gibson Johnny Smith in near mint condition with almost no signs of wear throughout the instrument. This guitar is in all original condition with the only alteration being removing the original bridge pickup mounted to the original pickguard with electronics and 1/8" jack. The guitar has been fitted with a new pickguard with the now 1/4" input jack being on the bottom strap button. Otherwise this guitar has no history of alterations or major repairs. This guitar was constructed with a spruce top, flamed maple back, sides, and neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, and the original Johnny Smith neck humbucker. The original Johnny Smith Bridge pickup and pickguard with electronics are in the case. This guitar has a scale length of 25", nut width of 1 3/4", thickness at the first fret of .84", thickness at the tenth fret of .97", and weighs 6.56 lbs exactly. This guitar comes with the original hardshell case as well as the original hang tags, and bill of sale.
