  • Description: ***SOLD*** 1934 Gibson-Kalamazoo model KG11. All there and all original and such a light finger picker. 2 piece seemingly seamless top with the fine radius. '33-'34 were the lightest built of the KG11 series. Acknowledged by both players and collectors (and Tommy Emmanuel) as one of the best depression era finger picking guitars ever made! To my way of thinking, the KG-11 was one of the best ideas Gibson ever had. We have never heard a bad sounding one yet. Loud and punchy and great for finger style country blues. Adirondack top with the stunning, we call the Lloyd Loar small sunburst, mahogany back and sides with a nice light colored Brazilian rosewood divot free fretboard and lacquered Brazilian rosewood original bridge. 1 3/4" at the nut. This sweetheart has some very light honest play wear and a few minor scratches but otherwise a very clean crack free great sounding example. Impeccable neck set by David Hatchard with pro set up of 4-3 action and plenty of string break over the new bone saddle with room to lower if you wish. New Hard Case.
