A sunning survivor, original 12 fret high nut Hawaiian KHG-14 recently converted to Spanish set up. Right out of the luthier shop with a fresh neck set. This guitar is really virtually un-played, meaning the frets have never been touched by a string until now!! Comfortable round chunky neck with a deep V, slightly heavier built ladder braced than a standard KG-14. This is a fabulous finger style blues picker. The "C" FON stamp dates this guitar to 1937. Nary a crack anywhere and the rosewood fingerboard has very nice dark to light figuring. No re finish. Pure original Vintage joy! Spruce top with about as nice a sunburst as you would like to see, sporting a sweet fire stripe pick guard. New appropriate compensated rosewood bridge with bone saddle and ebony nut complete the conversion. Big beautiful voice on this guitar!! Very open Gibson sound. Be sure to see it played Vintage HSC
