  • Description: This Gibson L-48 was made about 1948. It is an all Mahogany guitar with a Rosewood fingerboard. The guitar exibits lot of laquer checking, and a little finish flaking here and there, and a few dings, but NO cdracks, breaks or repairs. It is set up with nice low action, the neck is straight, and the truss rod is functional. It sounds ridiculously good- loud and punchy, while it plays with ease. It is all original except for a refret and new tuners. Get one!
