1950 Gibson L-48 Excellent, Soft, $2,995.00

Sweet. Could be 1950, maybe 1949 or '51, doesn't really matter. What does matter is that it's got a mahogany top, found only on the earliest post-war examples of this model. But what really counts is that it's all there, right, and tight. A perfect arch-top acoustic Gibson, quite the rare thing in this price range. It's all original (other than gratefully replaced tuner buttons), all set up by us and plays beautifully, functions flawlessly in every way. Sounds quite bold, delicious actually.
