Here's a stunning, 1947 Gibson L-5 in sunburst!
This one is all original, and one of finest archtop's we've ever had. Besides some light checking on its beautiful carved spruce top, the guitar is really clean and in excellent condition. The flame on the maple back & sides is gorgeous, and mirror's the flame on the back of the neck!
The tone of the guitar is amazing! It has wonderful clarity from the maple, and all the deep warmth and bass from its 17" wide body. The guitar is also a cannon, and can cut through any amount of instruments! The neck is nice & big, with perfect low action. The ebony fingerboard and abalone inlays are in flawless condition. The original pickguard, which is broken off at the top, is included (both pieces). The original case, which is in amazing condition and just as mint as the guitar, is also included!
