1949 Gibson L-7C Sunburst

Here's a 1949 Gibson L-7C in Sunburst finish. Phenomenal playing and sounding Cutaway example. Carved spruce top, carved maple back and sides, with a Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard. The tailpiece is not original, and at some point the guitar had a pickguard with a neck pickup attached, which, was screwed into the sides of the fretboard at the very bottom of the neck. The markings on the actual body are imprints from the bottom of the pickup. There are two more top cracks that have been processionally repaired by the treble side F-Hole, along with the back seam repair. These were all done in-house by our luthier, and are 100% completely structurally sound. Playability is exceptional, with low action from top to bottom. Plays smooth and fast. The neck is straight, and the bridge has a ton of room to go down for future adjustments as well. Truss rod functions properly. Frets are in good shape. Tonally the guitar is crisp, crystal clear, and loud. Cuts like knife! It's got the sound friends. Case included..
