  • Description: 8.5 of 10 condition (a small bit of pickwear through finish, heavy plating wear, several minor dings and dents. All original parts and finish) I wonder why the L5S was never hugely popular back in the day. It sold well enough to keep it in the linr from 1972 through 1985 which is a bit surprising to me since they are well designed guitars that perform admirably with the same deluxe appointments of an L5 - just ask Mark Farner, Carlos Santana and a host of country players. They're an excellent jazz axe too. The owner was a pro jazz player who like them enough to own two of them. They are super versatile too as you would imagine - being used for jazz and country. Now there's a stretch!
