This instrument came into the shop on trade, but needed electronics, so it sat while we searched for a pair of Ordinal Pickups and Harness, which proved unsuccessful. We installed a pair of DiMarzio Super Distortion Pickups with a 920D wiring Harness. To make this L6 more playable we refretted the guitar.

Structurally the instrument is spot on! The neck is straight and true with a fully functional truss rod (no cover) and a brand new fret job. The neck is 24 frets with a small C Profile. The width of the neck is narrower than other Gibson's, so if you enjoy the feel of a Fender Neck you will love this. With the exception of the electronics the other parts are Original. 7 Lbs. 15.6 Oz's on the scale, which isn't bad for a Solid Maple guitar. The pickups are Strong and Responsive in place of the Original Super Humbuckers, but clean up beautifully at lower volumes. The guitar is wired with 2 Vol, 1 Tone and a 3 Way Switch. Cosmetics are really great for a guitar 44 years new. When held under light there is rash on the back that can be seen, but only when held under light. The pick-guard has a chip and is visible in the photos. The guitar ships in its Original Case that is in excellent condition. The instrument just received a full setup and will be ready to play out of the box.
