Description

If you’ve never seen anything like this instrument, then that makes two of us! This is a fully custom ordered 1959 Gibson Electric Banjo, made from a Les Paul Junior body in Cherry! The body is the double cut style, although one of the horns have been removed to create this asymmetrical shape and the pickguard has been cut to match. The pickup is a standard 6-pole P-90, although the two outer spaces are filled with pearloid dots. The same treatment was given to this standard sized bridge, where the outer two spaces for saddles were filled with pearloid inserts as well. As if that wasn’t enough, this one-off also has a Bigsby tailpiece, bowtie inlays, banjo style tuners. This is all original, as it seems that back in the day you could submit any custom order with the company and build an instrument to fit your exact needs!

Overall Condition: 8.5, the general wear to finish and hardware bring it down a few
