Description

Here's a 1952 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop. Cleanest, and lightest example we've come across! The guitar comes to us from a private, uncirculated collection. This is from the very first batch ever made (1st 100 or so), featuring an unbound neck, no serial number, and diagonal screws on the bridge pickup. All parts on the guitar are original. At some point it had another tail piece on, as there are two small extra holes filled with screws, and two small filled holes at the bottom strap button under the tail piece end. The rest of the guitar is perfect! It has a great neck angle, with consistent low action down the entire length of the fingerboard. Comfortable soft V profile. Can't stress how well it plays. Frets have life as well. Both P-90s sound incredible!!. The neck measures 8.13k, and the bridge 7.78k. Very special guitar. Bonus: super clean original brown hard shell case included, along with the original strap!!
