Description: This is Mirabella 52/59 "burst" conversion started life as a gold 1952 Les Paul with P90’s. The paint was stripped and this unbelievable top was found underneath...THIS IS NOT A RETOP I repeat...THIS IS NOT A RETOP. This is though a center seam highly flamed and gorgeous top where the flame moves as you move the guitar...not another like it on the planet! I do have the correct truss rod cover too! The 59’ modifications include a reset neck to 59’ angle and specs, refret to 59' wire frets, Brazilian board of course, plugging the P90 PUP holes and re-routing them to PAF Humbucker specs, addition of a 59’ stop bar, a 59’ ABR-1, 59’ Tune O Matic, complete refinish to 59’ paint specs and the burst finish is unfreakin' believable...a perfect match! All work was done by Mirabella Guitars and Restorations. Anyone in the “Biz” knows the top two conversion luthiers were Chris Mirabella and Terry Mueller…and I say “were” because neither of them are doing conversions any longer. THIS IS ONE OF THE LAST MIRABELLA CONVERSIONS ON THE PLANET. I’m lucky enough to own two of them. This guitar in the industry is referred to as “Mirabella Conversion,” by astute members of the guitar community. This beauty has all original 59' parts including two awesome tone monster PAF’s that are virgin and came from a 59' Gibson 175 I thinkit was, 59 tuners, back plate plastic not original but cut by Mirabella, real 59' pickguard, 59 switch tip, 59’ switch ring, truss rod cover etc screws...everything except PUP rings and back plastic is 59’!! Comes with and will be shipped in a 70’s red lined plastic hinged Gibson protector case A.k.a. “chain saw” case. This is your chance to own true 59' Burst without spending $300k. NO one can tell me this doesn’t feel or play or sound like a true burst…she is truly incredible!
