Out of a collection and now on consignment. Original 1957 Gibson Les Paul Black Custom. The Custom was released first issued in 1953 with an all mahogany construction, ebony fretboard, pearl block inlays, and a split diamond inlay on the headstock. This LP is very resonant with Bigsby and is in very good condition. Super comfortable neck profile and loaded with three great sounding original PAF's. Two longer bridge posts and thumb wheels were installed to strengthen the bridge. Two small screw holes look to be filled on bass side by the pickup rings, possible a name plate was on the guitar at one time? Neck measurements are: 1st fret-.886, 3rd fret-.890. 5th fret-.903, 7th fret-.940, 12th fret-.974 The guitar weighs 10lbs 40z.
