The 25/50 is in many ways a milestone for Gibson, introduced in 1978 as a Custom, anniversary model to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Gibson Les Paul, and 50 years of Les Paul's career in music. This instrument is not short on visual flair, indicating exactly how special it was at the time, and continues to be until this very day. The gleaming "25 50" logo on the headstock is just one of many adornments, among split MOP block inlays, silver & gold tuners, a coil-tapping toggle switch, and a whole host of unique features that gave this instrument its dazzling style. This guitar also has a premium Flame top which is far above the average in figure that most of these received. There is something about 70's Gibson Humbuckers I just love, great midrange bite and a wonderful amount of harmonic overtones.
This is a ONE OWNER guitar that we purchased from the original owner. It was a local touring musician who used this guitar for 20 years in many bars through the area. This guitar is 100% original and comes with the original case.
Apart from light buckle rash found on the back, the finish looks clean and 3D. There is some playwear on the top also, and the binding has aged a bit over time. The hardware shows moderate corrosion and pitting, as seen most notably on the bridge. This was all natural playwear from the original owner. The fingerboard and frets have mild playwear throughout, and the neck has a pleasant, vintage character thanks to the worn-in feel. Frets on this particular model are of small-to-medium height, and the fret feel is slightly more shallow than the standard, Jumbo fret found on most Les Pauls.

Orders to Hawaii or Alaska will incur an additional shipping charge. Overnight, 2-Day, and Express shipping is available for an additional fee. INTERNATIONAL - International shipping is available on all orders. Shipping charges are calculated at checkout. Customs duties are the responsibility of the buyer.
RETURN POLICY - At Distinctive Guitar customer satisfaction is our top priority. We are happy to offer you a 48hr approval period on all orders (excludes custom orders and layaways). Return arrangements must be made within 48 hours of receipt and must be authorized by Distinctive Guitar prior to shipment. Refunds on approved returns will be made in-full less shipping costs both ways and applicable credit card fees. Feel free to use your refund in-full on another "In Stock Item". In limited circumstances, returns outside the 48 hour approval window may be considered but are subject to a 15% re-stocking fee. Trades are considered final sale due to the large amount of shipping fees and risk associated with a trade transaction. We are happy to discuss approval prior to trading if required. Sale, clearance, demo, and NOS items are considered final sale and no refunds or returns are allowed on these items. All orders must be returned in the condition they were originally shipped within 5 business days after return approval.
