1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom with Neck By D'Aquisto Black

1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom with neck by D'Aquisto in excellent condition. It has light playwear and some nice looking finish checking throughout. This one of a kind, custom guitar has a 1969 Les Paul Custom body with a custom made neck, ebony tailpiece, and bound pickguard designed by the legendary Jimmy D’Aquisto. It was refinished in black by D’Aquisto as well. The ebony bridge was made by Chris Mirabella. The neck has a wider nut and slimmer profile more commonly associated with an archtop guitar and features a bound ebony fingerboard with pearl block inlays, an ebony trussrod cover, a bound headstock with an inlaid pearl scroll that reads “Neck by D’Aquisto NY”, a gold finial perched on top, and gold replacement Grover Imperial tuners.  It features original patent number pickups but with replacement covers. The knobs and pickup surrounds have been replaced. The neck measures 1 3/4’” at the nut and has a depth of 0.82” at the first fret and .87” at the 12th fret. The guitar has a 25 1/4” scale, a 12” radius, and weighs 9.26 lbs. It comes with a hardshell case.
