1973 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop
Goldtop, EX. Look close! This beauty has what we believe is a factory-replaced neck. The workmanship is impeccable but the neck replicates 1968-era features: Bigger, one-piece mahogany, small headstock, early “open b, open a” logo, no volute, no “Made in USA” stamp, but oddly has a 1973-range serial number stamp. Yet it has binding nibs on the frets like an early ‘70s neck, flawlessly executed and matches the flawless finish on the guitar. A gorgeous Goldtop with factory-correct ’73 pots and caps. With the original hard case. Hard to resist.
