Quite unusual, this one, and as cool and as clean as they come. The Les Paul Deluxe Model, with its fabulous Mini-Humbucker pickups, has got one of the most unique sounds of any Gibson Les Paul ever. Thing is, when they’re encountered they always seem to have one of those weird, "sandwiched" bodies with the maple laminate running right through them, or else a three or even five-piece laminated neck. Or both. They just aren’t seen, especially this late, with a solid, original-style one-piece mahogany body or a solid, original one-piece mahogany neck, let alone both.
