Description

This guitar has been a long time coming and was ABSOLUTELY worth the wait. Occasionally in the early 2000s Gibson would put beautiful tops on their Historic R6s and R7s then cover them with gold. The fellow we acquired this from saw the flame and had the finish stripped, the neck re-shapped for a soft V, which is very comfortable, frets pleck’d, added a bone nut, and the guitar routed for humbuckers. It currently is sporting aged RS plastic and an RS wiring kit. When we acquired the guitar we knew it would make a fantastic Burst. So off to Dave it went and now it’s back and better than ever. The top has been re-carved to 50s spec, it has correct 50s style inlays, Sheptone Tribute pickups and just the right about of aging. Comes with a new black Gibson case.
