  • Description:

With some fine checking throughout the body and neck, this tobacco sunburst Les Paul Junior has a unique look. Its deep buckle scratches and wear on the back show that it’s been well-loved. But its sound is uniquely bright for these mahogany slabs when it’s unplugged, and its neck has a slight V shape that is a bit unusual for these guitars but is very comfortable in the hand. Aside from repro tuner buttons, all the hardware is original, and this Junior is a unique one to play and look at.

    Summary

Body: Mahogany, single-cutaway tobacco sunburst finish.

Neck: Mahogany with rosewood fretboard. Slightly rounded "V" profile that is unusual but very comfortable.

Pickups/Hardware: One P-90 at the bridge--bright and punchy. Wraparound bridge.

Setup/Playability: Very bright unplugged, and nice brightness to pickup too.

Cosmetic Condition: Deep buckle scratches on back.

Modifications: Replaced tuner buttons on original Kluson tuners. There are some extra holes around the lower strap button from a Bigsby or tailpiece that was previously installed.
