If you like Juniors but you struggle with fat necks, this is the one for you!

The slimmer, early 1961 neck profile appears to have absolutely nothing to do with the tone - this one drives an amp like all the others! It set up really nicely with perfect action.

It also weighs just over 7 pounds, which is just about right.

The tuners were once changed to Grovers, then returned to stock Kluson plates. The output jack plate was swapped out - the original one likely cracked. The output jack looks original, as do all the electronics.

There is evidence of a thin, hairline headstock crack that extends from the base of the headstock to the A tuning machine. It does not go all the way through, and the transition of the headstock to the neck is not affected. It is really hard to tell if the crack went all the way through and some thin glue was wicked in there or not, but the area is stable as it was before the crack appeared. There are no negative effects from this.

The rest of the guitar is original. The pickup KILLS! The frets show wear and have been milled, but they're still good to go.

Delivered in a recent Les Paul case.
