  • Description: This is a genuine 2007 Gibson Les Paul Junior that a luthier has modified to resemble the Gibson John Lennon LP, Jr. by the refinishing and the addition of a Charlie Christian style pickup and according wiring for two pickups. Lennon first played his Gibson - modified by a Long Island luthier - at a Madison Square Garden benefit in August, 1972. The Gibson commemorative issue was a total of only 300 made at a price tag of about $6,000! This guitar has the Lennon look with incredible playability and sound for a fraction of the price. If you are a true fan of John Lennon and the Beatles, you have to own this one! Excellent - like new condition with original Gibson hardshell case.
