Description: Gibson Les Paul Special Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (1957), made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, serial # 7 7005, limed mahogany finish, mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, black tolex hard shell case. Overall length is 39 1/2 in. (100.3 cm.), 13 in. (33 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). Very clean overall, excellent finish with hardly and checking or fade. There is a solidly repaired headstock wing seperation on the treble side-no overspray or touchup, so the line is fairly visible especially on the face. Some armwear rub on the bass side top edge, there is an area of finish worn away on the treble edge by the jack as well-possibly a ding or chip that was sanded out-virtually no other finish wear. All original hardware except control cavity cover. Nicely done refret (slightly thicker and taller than original wire) so this is an excellent player, with the expected killer sound.. Overall Excellent Condition.
