  • Description: 1956 Orig GIBSON Les Paul standard Conversion Here is as close as you are probably ever going to get to a 1959 €250.000,00+ Pre-1960s Les paul.. Incredible guitar, that beets everything you ever played before. This is a 1956 Gibson Les Paul standard, with Un-gold Top! Like most Standards of this era it shows a nice Birdseye top, two piece, Except for 3 out of four knobs, and the 50s ABR1 wireless bridge, most of the original hardware and electronics are lost in time. However they didn’t manage to take out the soul of this incredible tone-monster that only weighs an Unreal 3.7kg, that’s only 8.5lbs!!! The guitar is stripped at one point long time ago from gold to natural, and shows a beautiful birdseye maple top that obviously held a faded over the years kind of lemon drop finish. Its really very beautiful. The gold can still be seen in the cavities. The neck is not all that fat.. definitly '59 shape. Its equipped with a 60s light weight tailpiece, Tim White Timbuckers, and seventies tuners, All the plastics are of later date. What is original are the Old Growth Honduran body and neck, the old growth Maple top, the original Gibson inlays, and original Silk screen LP model, the Original Serial number, the original Brazilian slab board and inlays. This Guitar is a great players Guitar and possibly the lightest I ever played. It’s a great guitar to play but it’s also excellent material for a upgrade to 59 flame top, but you can also restore her to her original p90s set-up as the routing work is done professionally and would be an easy job.. It’s up to you!… The case is a black seventies (actually the best and most ugly Gibson ever made) But if you are interested we have a fifties case in VERY good condition.. (+2750) Most important of all is the INCREDIBLE TONE consignment guitar.
