1973 Gibson Les Paul Standard Sunburst w/ Kahler & Gibson Hardshell Case and
Vintage original Gibson Les Paul Standard in original Sunburst finish.
This is a rare Standard from 1973 when they were mainly making only Les Paul Deluxe guitars and only sent Standard as custom orders to dealers. The humbucker routes are original to the guitar and the truss rod is the original "Standard" truss rod cover.
Original dark Sunburst finish is nice and dark and unfaded and looks amazing.
This guitar features a Kahler tremolo system that works great and sounds amazing. One bolt on the locking nut is missing, the middle one, but the guitar plays great and stays in tune regardless. The Kahler trem works great and has a real nice feel and lots of sustain. Really brings ya back to the good old days.
The bridge pickup is a 1980s Gibson Bill Lawrence HBR pickup and the neck pickup is a Gibson Burstbucker Pro which was used in Gibson Custom Shop guitars in the aughts. Both pickups sound killer with classic warm and thick Gibson tone.
Pots are original dated 1973.
Guitar is clean with honest signs of wear and age.
Comes with a newer Gibson hardshell case.

We use UPS ground for shipping. We can work out overnight shipping on a case by case basis. Buyer pays all shipping charges.
All Sales Final. The only exception is internet sales. Please make sure you get an in-hand description for guitars purchased via the internet. 24 hour approval period on internet sales. After 24 hours, no returns. Buyer assumes all shipping charges. If we agree to a return, as in an internet sale, instruments must be returned in the condition they were sent. Shipping costs will be deducted from the return, and buyer will assume these costs. If we accept a return there will also be a 5% re-stocking fee. All merchandise sold is in used - as is condition. All sales final. If there is an exception made on any return over 24 hours, there will be a 15% re-stocking fee to the customer. No returns whatsoever on guitar parts.
