1979 Gibson Les Paul Standard "Cherry Sunburst"

The ultimate 70's rock Les Paul! This 1979 Standard model in original "Sunburst" finish was upgraded to a DiMarzio Super Distortion pickup in the bridge position and a double white DiMarzio PAF style pickup in the neck, as well as a set of Grover tuners. Aside from these changes this remains an otherwise great example of a late 70's Les Paul, with a resonant mahogany body, maple top, three piece maple neck, and factory humbucker routes. Similar to guitars used by legends like Ace Frehley, this 1979 example includes the original hardshell case as well as the original paperwork from Gibson!
