  • Description: 9.0 out of 10 condition. Match head dings and a few worm marks on the back (only seen @ certain angle). Black is "the color" for a Les Paul. Plays great. Minor fret wear. Incredible tone. The previous owner swapped out the original caps for real 1950s bumble bee caps obtained from an old Hammond organ. This guitar sounds incredible, the bumble bee caps give it the "woman tone". Has a Gibson repro metal jack plate. The guitar had Grovers on it at one time. No additional screw holes. No enlarged tuner shaft holes either, the deluxe tuners with the hex nut have the same shaft size as the Grovers. OHSC is clean also. Some case candy (see pics). Over all a fantastic guitar
