Description

This late 1970s Les Paul Standard has been outfitted with older DiMarzio humbuckers that give it a screaming tone great for hard rock or metal. It has a beautiful cherry burst finish and a serial number of 70589101. The finish is in great shape, just a few minor dings here or there. The frets have some wear but still have a bit of life in them and the guitar plays wonderfully. there is a small crack in the pickguard near the neck pickup where the screw goes in. There is some finish wear along the sides and on the tip of the horn of the body. The pots looks to be original and date back to 1978. There’s a bit of belt rash on the back of the body. The neck has a great thin ’60s LP profile for fast and easy fretting and the nut width is about 1 11/16th”. The bridge and stop tailpiece look to be replacements. This Les Paul has been modified with the Di Marzios but it still makes for a fantastic player for someone looking to bring some heavy rock or thick psyched out blues. Comes with original hard shell case.
