Description
This is a superb guitar for any collector or player. The Gibson Les Paul Jr., when introduced, was intended as a lower-priced but professional model Les Paul guitar. What Gibson created was a little monster of a rock and roll beast - “Junior” only in price)!

The “TV Yellow” (actually a limed finish with clear lacquer) was created because white looked too bright on black & white televisions of the day - light yellow looked white!

Featuring a mahogany body and neck, unbound rosewood fingerboard, Kluson strip tuners, combo tailpiece/bridge, tortoise-colored pickguard, original electronics and strong P-90 “dogear” pickup this full-scale, “no frills” guitar has an incredibly strong, beefy tone with great sustain.

Remember Leslie West & Mountain’s “Mississippi Queen”? THAT’S a Les Paul TV in all its glory! This one’s in very good condition with honest playing wear and finish checking. Comes with original brown Gibson case.
A truly professional 1950’s guitar every Gibson or 50’s guitar collector should have!
