1960 Gibson LG-2 Sunburst, Very Good, Hard, $3,795.00

A very cool and unusual LG-2. We don't see many from this exact time period; it's kind of unique. For starters, this guitar has got that shallow, extra-comfy neck shape found only in a tiny window of Gibson-time. Then, oddly, it's got a combination of two slightly different Gibson tints to its finish, the traditional dark sunburst on the front, and with the later reddish finish on the back, sides, and back of neck. Definitely 100% original, and no idea how it got that way, and quite lovely and appealing, I will say. Nice and clean throughout; silky-smooth action and a big bright sound. Also has that much sought-after ceramic saddle, prized by many for extra clarity. A real winner of a very special Gibson LG-2. $3795 w/hsc
