Description

Here we have a great 1942 Gibson Lg-2 banner flat top guitar. First things first. The guitar has been complete restored. The restoration included a new replica Adirondack spruce top with 5/16'' scalloped tapered X brace and tone bars along with Adirondack front brace and side supports and small maple bridge plate. The guitar has also had a new replica Honduran mahogany back and back bracing made for it as well. The guitar has had a replica Brazilian rosewood bridge made for it as well. The guitar has had a neck reset geometry is spot on action is perfect. Guitar has had a replacement pick Gard made for it. The guitar has had a complete re fret along with new bone nut and saddle. The entire guitar has been completely re finished in nitro cellulose lacquer and aged. The guitar still dose obtain its origanal Gibson logo at head stock as you will notice from the photos that I have provieded. The guitar has 1950s kluson tuners as you also notice.

Things origanal to the guitar The entire rim with front block with origanal ink stamp serial number and tail block along with its neck and finger board. The guitar comes with a period correct case. The guitar dose have lots of nicks chips dings dents and superficial blemishes all over it as you will notice from the photos that I have provieded.
