  • Description: Newly arrived. This 1969 Melody Maker "D" ( d=2 pick ups) SG body style is a really gorgeous mahogany and weighs in at a feather 6 lbs 12 oz's. For some reason the 60s brown ones are richer and show more grain than most of the early 70s making this a very attractive guitar with nice wood grain and 100% original pots, pick ups, tremolo, tuners .. solder joints, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard ... with exception to a later hard shell case. These are cool rock and roll crunch guitars.
