Description: This one has a bit more wear than most, especially on the neck, with some finish chipping that doesn’t affect playabiity. Despite the extra layer of finish, this one has a relatively narrow, slightly round feel that’s a bit different from most white SG Juniors from this period, which tend to have chunkier necks.
Summary
Body: Mahogany with Polaris White finish.
Neck: Mahogany with rosewood fretboard, dot inlays. Narrow, somewhat round profile.
Pickups/Hardware: One bridge P-90 with strong, even output. Double-band Kluson Deluxe tuners and chrome hardware.
Setup/Playability: A bit different than most of these due to neck profile. Smooth and delicate action.
Cosmetic Condition: Plenty of neck wear with some finish chipping. Widespread checking throughout body and neck as well. Missing control cavity backplate.
Modifications: Good refret. Open-back three-on-a-side tuners had been on the guitar at one point, but the correct Klusons are on now with exposed finish wear and holes.
