Playability: The neck is medium C profile and the gloss finish has been worn off, it now feels like a satin finished neck. Setup in-house with 10-46 strings and has action of 4/64 on low E and 3/64 on high E. Brief History: SG Specials were first introduced in late 1959 and was originally named the Les Paul Special. Featured rounded horns (much like the Les Paul Junior), 2 P-90 pickups, a wrap-around tailpiece, and was also made as a 3/4 size guitar. Throughout the years, the SG Special has seen a wide array of changes; pickups, fingerboards, inlays, pickguard, features, and model names. Cosmetics: Has some lacquer checking around the control knobs and the edge of the lower bout. There's a ding on the edge of the waist on treble side. Back of the body has no buckle rash, just minor scuffing that can only been seen in proper lighting. Has minor bumps and dings here and there but nothing major. The frets have little to no wear.
