  • Description: A really cool and mostly original 60’s SG Standard. This guitar has checking, nicks, dings and buckle wear, but no cracks in the wood. The neck pickup is original, and the bridge pickup is a 1970-71 pat. # sticker PAF that is almost identical to the neck PU. One pot has been changed. The three remaining original pots date 1376850, so the late 68 pots and the no volute/no made in USA indicate that this guitar was made in early-mid 1969. At one time the guitar had Schaller tuners (6 small screw holes are visible) but later Gibson Deluxe tuners have been installed for the correct look. The guitar sounds and plays well with nice, easy action. The frets show even wear, but they’re still good and the fingerboard is in very nice shape. No routs or extra holes. Width at the nut is 1 9/16”.
