Gibson's early dreads are just as amazing as those from that other guitar company. This circa '46 Southern Jumbo is just about as lively as an acoustic gets. Cosmetically you can tell that it really has lived a few lives in its 73 years but when it comes to tone and playability it's hard to beat. There is repaired top crack and the original finish has been over-sprayed somewhere along the way. There is also a repair on the side where it rests on your leg. All repairs are solid. The neck is big and chunky like you'd expect to find on a guitar of this era and has no issues. It has been professionally re-fretted with vintage sized wire and it plays great. Good neck angle with a tall saddle so it will be good for years to come. The guitar has been fully inspected by our in-house luthier. If you have any questions, just ask.
