1948 Gibson Super 400 Natural, Very Good, Original Hard,
ON HOLDBig, Bold & Blonde 1948 Gibson Super 400 in Very Good condition with OHSC. This beauty has some of the most exquisite maple on a late 40's Super 400 you could want with highly figured Quilted Maple Back, Flame Maple Sides and Flame Maple Neck. Spruce top, Sides and Neck are all Crack Free! There is however an 8" Old Repaired Crack in the back that can be seen in the photos that has been cleated on the inside. Original pickguard has a slight bit of binding sep along the bottom. Guitar appears to have had it's Original Tuners replaced (or restored) with earlier late 30's Grover Stairstep Amber Button Tuners (see photo). Rosewood Bridge and Fingerboard. Strap Button added at heel and filled Strap Button hole on upper rim. Old refret with smaller vintage size frets and possible replaced nut. Two bottom latches on the case are missing clasps and don't close. Even with these small issues This is one Big Beautiful Guitar!! Additional detailed photos available.

No returns on International Sales. Buyer may return an instrument for any reason immediately following the 24 hour approval period and must contact GCG immediately for Return Authorization. Instruments must be returned no later than 7 business days after the 24 hour approval period and from the time Return Authorization is issued. Buyer is responsible for all shipping and Insurance Costs. Full refund will be given after Instrument is returned and inspected. Refund will be returned in the same method that the buyer paid for the instrument. In addition to all Shipping costs, there is a 20% restocking fee for any shipments that buyer refused or is returned undeliverable by UPS/Fed Ex or any other Carrier used.
