  • Year: 1964
  • Manufacturer: Gibson
  • Model: Trini Lopez
  • Case: Original Hard
  • Color: Cherry
  • Condition: Near Mint
  • Description: I'm the original owner of this one. (The Crocker deal) Serial number 177435. ALL the right stuff. This one Is stone cold dead weightless, near mint+, all original, and just plain silly. It was suggested that I might check the pots on this one... I did... I love it when you get one of those Trini Lopez's where the pots date to mid 1964. You don't get that very often. There's a reason why 63/64 335's usually cost three or four times more than later 60s examples. Perhaps it's because they're practically a different species of instrument. Same goes for the Trini's... Except you can find 64 335 - you can find a 64 Trini Lopez. These are real rare. The finish on this one is super thin and looks and feels great. My later 60s Trini Lopez's are in great shape with perfectly low action and sound okay, but let me just say this; I know old guitars Sen. and those Dan Quayle's are no Jack Kennedy. $10,000. my gbase email is STILL outta whack...so...you gotta type out southworthguitar@aol.com to inquire.
