  • Description: 2008 Godin Summit CT is all original, in excellent condition, and perfect playing order. Comes with the original hard shell case. Details: Single cutaway body shape, string-thru body design, 13 1/16" lower bout width, 10 1/8" upper bout width, 17 5/8" body length from neck pocket to lower strap button, 1 3/4" body depth, 1 11/16" nut width that tapers out to 2" at 12th fret, 24 3/4" scale length, weighs 7 pounds 4 ounces. Materials: Contoured 2-piece Mahogany body, bound carved book-matched flamed Maple top, bolt-on Mahogany neck, Ebony fingerboard, 22 frets, pearl dot inlays and oval at 12th fret, black truss rod cover with wood grain impressions, black pickup rings, tusq nut, natural gloss finish. Hardware: Seymour Duncan '59 humbucker in bridge, Seymour Duncan Alnico 2 in neck, 5-way pickup selector, master volume and master tone control, Godin High-Definition Revoicer button (take the passive pickups and turn to active with increased dynamics and redefines the pickup characteristics), black metal dome knobs, recessed black tune-o-matic bridge, chrome enclosed tuning keys with Godin embossed on back and black plastic buttons, Schaller strap lock buttons. Cosmetics: The guitar is in very clean condition with no bumps, dings, dents, chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs. Has minor pick scuffing on the treble side of the top. Back of the body has a very small amount of buckle rash but can only be seen in proper lighting. The frets have barely any playing wear, and is only in the first position. Brief History: Not everyone in the music world has heard of Godin Guitars. Godin Guitars was first started over 20 years ago in a small village in La Patrie, Quebec Canada by Robert Godin, who still owns the company and designs a large majority of their instruments. Godin now has six factories in more than a 620 mile spread. Godin owns other companies such as; Richmond Guitars, Seagull, Simon & Patrick, Norman, LaPatrie and Art & Lutherie. Godin continues to push the innovative envelope with new designs, features, and builds. Playability: The neck is a medium C profile with a satin finish. Currently strung up with 12-52 flat wound D'Addario strings, but will be setup with 10-46 strings that sit at 4/64 on low E and 3/64 on high E.
