Here is the lowdown on this Grammer guitar. If your familiar with early rock a billy then the name " Bobby Helms " should ring a bell, Bobby played several Grammer guitars in his career, this purportedly being one of them.Bobby was popular for songs such as "Jingle Bell Rock","My Special Angel", "Borrowed Dreams","New River Train " and others . Bobby was also associated with Hank Garland. Well the story goes that Bobby was down in a poker game one evening and offered this guitar as a marker, his hand lost and it eventually found it's way to Greg's Guitars. I have no reason to doubt the story and as a sleuth you can research and find pictures of the guitar with Bobby. Own a piece of Music history from the palace of Grammer guitars, Greg's guitars.
