Description

This 1962 Gretsch Chet Atkins (6121) in Orange is such a treat…and it’s not every day you get to see a double cut example!! You’ve most likely seen this model in its single cut variation, a design that was used until 1961. Soon after, in 1963, the 6121 was discontinued, which explains why these double cut versions are so scarcely seen. This particular example is very clean, with only a small amount of honest playwear and a bit of fade to this orange top. As you will experience with most vintage Gretsch guitars, this guitar has endured some binding damage but has been carefully and professionally repaired. Looking at the guitar, you will see that the binding is present with few cracks.

Overall Condition: 9, overall very clean with some binding repair
