This 1968 Gretsch Chet Atkins Nashville has received a professional neck reset and refret, making it the best playing Gretsch I've ever found from the era.

Gretsch guitars from this period are notorious for poor neck resets, small frets and binding issues.

The previous owner set the guitar up with a newer roller bridge that allows for intonation. The original is in the original case. Due to the height of the new bridge, the replacement base was altered. With the original bridge, the guitar will set up perfectly but will not allow for individual string intonation.

The binding is showing some areas of deterioration but is stable and not actively crumbling from the guitar. The neck heel cap shows the worst of it, which is the case on every guitar from the era.

The mute pad has been changed and is a bit tall for practical use. It will need a little lowering to adapt to regular use. The mute mechanism works as intended.

All other parts and the electronics are original and function perfectly.

If you're looking for a 6120 that you can enjoy playing to the fullest, this is your axe.
