Description

Check out this incredible 1966 Gretsch Country Gentleman in its factory original Black finish! This guitar is extremely rare in this color – we’ve only ever seen two. It is tailored with thumbprint or “Neoclassical” Pearloid fingerboard inlays, gold hardware, and a “Chet Atkins Country Gentleman” pickguard. It also features a Bigsby vibrato, a roller bridge, and a double mute. There is a normal amount of binding rot on this guitar, almost none on the body and mostly concentrated on the neck. There is also a bit of finish separation up the back of the neck, and some standard finish checking around the body.

Overall Condition:  8, expected fragile binding, weather checking
